Forest4climate&People head ‘out west’
Between the 23rd and the 26th April 2022 Sanda Rakotomalala (from ESSA-Forêts) and Julia Jones (from Bangor University) travelled west as far as Ankarafantsika National Park. The purpose was to visit partners from the Forest4Climate&People project, update them on results and what has been achieved while also discussing future potential collaborations. We are starting to look ahead as a team considering the next big challenges we want to tackle, and how best these can be addressed. We are increasingly focusing our attention on Forest Landscape Restoration and filling the knowledge gaps to allow this important natural climate solution to be scaled up and reach its potential in Madagascar.
